'The Moon and the Cat'

Look upon a gilded moon
Who shamelessly shines
With not a care in any disdain
Of her golden flawlessness

See and find the grey cat
That sits on a soft cushion of dreams
Licking and polishing her slick coat
Of fine moonlight silverdust

She serenades the shameless moon
As she glides the silvery pathway
And the moon blesses the Moonsinger
With beauty and grace of shadows
