The shadow of your smile

The shadow of your smile haunts me tonight
When the night unravels
When the lights of the horizon glows
That blood of life and hopes

The shadow of your smile seem to follow me
Everywhere I go
The shadow of your smile does not care
The distance it goes
The feelings of unrequited love
The feelings that disturb my sleep

The shadow of your smile is so full
Of unbroken dreams
That sing to those who dare
To risk all on a quick flash of heat
But which is deep and unending
Everlastingly beautiful

And when I see your face again
Will you smile on me like before?
Will you bestow the greatest of gifts on me?
The shadow of your smile

The shadow of your smile lingers in my mind
Like a song, like a painting
Like emotions found between lines of a poem
And I will forever hold you
In my deepest heart, and essence
Like the shadow of your smile.
