Gataki

Cat, when are you coming back?
You wait and see.
Don’t play coy with me. I need to know.
Why the impatience? Time is free. Time is inconsequential, gataki.
I don’t like not knowing.
But that’s the magic of it. The mystery of it. Imagine the air sizzling with anticipation. When you least expect it, I’ll snuck up on you. Think of the thrill.
The last time you did that, I nearly made a fool of myself.
What? Couldn’t handle the heat?
When. Are. You. Coming. Back.
In time, gataki. In time.
I need to put a bell on you.
If you catch me.
