You

You are alone
A creature of darkness and light
You walk this earth, questioning
Touching anyone who will allow
But how many do?

You were born cold
People laughing at your queerness
Gaily mocking your indignant senses
Of right and truth, of aye and nay
Do you know you are outnumbered?

You have nothing
Preaching ghosts and retribution
Crying in vain for the dead
Who are but really only damned bodies
Are they speaking at all?

You feel hatred
Banging on the door, wailing
Of the mountains of filth and wrong
Tears and blood pouring in a stream
But can you stop the flood?
